Located in Evanston, Chicago, Lake Forest and Oak Brook, Stern Perkoski Mendez is a boutique divorce and family law firm that provides legal counsel in the areas of divorce, family law, estate planning and asset protection.

Stern Perkoski Mendez was founded with one goal in mind: to change the way divorce and family law are practiced in Chicago, the North Shore, DuPage County and surrounding suburbs. We are dedicated to helping families through difficult transitions and acting as a source of stability throughout the legal process.

A merger in 2020 brought together two firms—The Law Offices of Joshua E. Stern and The Law Offices of Nancy Stingle Perkoski—both of which combine excellent legal representation with transparency, responsiveness and exceptional client service. Then, in September 2020, the addition of Marvin Mendez as principal created Stern Perkoski Mendez.

Our exclusive focus on family law, divorce and estate planning gives clients a superior degree of skill and proficiency in every case. We are proud to represent clients in Evanston, Chicago, Lake Forest and the surrounding suburbs—including Deerfield, Glencoe, Glenview, Highland Park, Lincolnwood, Northbrook, Northfield, Rogers Park, Skokie, Wilmette and Winnetka. We also recently opened a new office in DuPage County, allowing us to serve Oak Brook, Elmhurst, Lombard, Glen Ellyn, Downers Grove, Naperville and other nearby suburbs.
