Matthew Bayens is an associate divorce and family law attorney at Stern Perkoski Mendez.
Committed to providing diligent and compassionate service to his clients, Matthew discovered his interest in family law while interning and clerking at various public interest organizations. As an attorney at Stern Perkoski Mendez, Matthew is committed to ensuring clients understand the court process and are fully informed about their options—and he works to make those options a reality.
During law school, Matthew received two CALI Awards of Excellence for the highest grades in Legal Writing and Law and Poverty. Matthew also received various awards for his public interest work and served on the executive boards of student organizations focused on public interest, immigration and education law. Additionally, he completed a courthouse practicum in mediation, mediating a variety of cases in Cook County, including child support, breach of contract, consumer debt and landlord/tenant disputes.
